Automation is useless if artificial intelligences cannot operate on the real world. MCP Hub Ecuador is an open-source initiative (created and backed by UPGRADE-EC S.A.S.) that standardizes and facilitates interoperability between AI agents and the Ecuadorian business, financial, and tax ecosystem.

Architecture

Each MCP server is designed under a strict philosophy: stateless, secure, configurable via environment variables, and ready to be deployed modularly using Docker.

Layers of the Ecosystem

🏛️ SRI & Accounting

mcp-sri: Native electronic invoice issuance, local XAdES-BES digital signing (.p12), and direct SOAP transmission to the SRI.
mcp-contifico: Bidirectional connector for the Contífico ERP to manage inventory, clients, and transactions.
mcp-invoka: Simplified invoice issuance based on credits and APIs optimized for LLMs.
mcp-perseo / mcp-facturasoft: Integrations with additional local ERP and accounting systems.

💳 Payment Gateways & Billing

mcp-payphone: Instant payment link generation and direct push charge notifications (sales) sent to the customer’s app.
mcp-kushki: Card tokenization, direct credit/debit card processing, and bank transfers.
mcp-pagomedios / mcp-datafast: Billing and payment flow automation across national banking networks.

⚙️ Auxiliary Tools

mcp-email: A secure IMAP/SMTP server allowing agents to interact with email inboxes using natural language safely.

Operational Impact

This hub allows autonomous agents (such as Tuxbot or nexOS) to collect payments, verify tax status, and issue legally binding electronic receipts without human intervention or handcrafted custom code. Everything is done through standardized tools that the LLM understands and executes deterministically.
